First and foremost don’t do anything that causes actual pain…  A good mat should not slide but rather stick. You can heal this and even improve your game once healed with yoga!

The weight loss in this is not from cardio but from the twists, there are  different ways to approach weight loss for beginners, not just traditional cardio, a combination of  variety of styles classes is most recommended for best results… have a nice try and good luck ^_^
